Central Park is a public park in the center of Manhattan in New York City. The park initially opened in 1857 was the first landscaped public park in the United States. It is the most visited urban park in the United States.
Central Park is home to the world famous Central Park Zoo, it also boasts numerous statues of iconic figures and has in its grounds the oldest public monument in North America, the oblisk Cleopatra's Needle.
