Intrepid Sea & Air Museum

The Museum is not only a local NYC landmark but a National Historic Landmark. The WWII aircraft carrier Intrepid had long career in the navy and in 1982 Intrepid became a museum with the mission of honoring national heroes, educating the public and inspiring youth. The exhibits range from historical re-creations to rides in simulators to being able to visit the inside of the world’s fastest commercial airplane, Concorde.

Located on the West side of Manhattan on Pier 86, 12th Ave. & 46th Street.
